Terms of Service 

1. RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS​

1.1 Customer acknowledges that he / she has care, custody and control of the All products in rental agreement while the products are at the Customer’s location. Customer accepts responsibility for all loss or damaged products. If a product is  damaged or lost while in the Customer’s possession the customer will be obligated to pay the “Total to replace” value outlined in table 1 of the  damaged products.

1.2 Customer acknowledges that he / she has sole responsibility to schedule and be present at appointments for pick-up and delivery of the agreed upon Products. If the customer does not give 24 hour notice to reschedule appointments, there may be additional delivery or cancellation fees applied in the amount of $20.00.

1.3 Customer acknowledges that he / she has sole responsibility to have the All Rented Products returned by the agreed upon date. For each additional day that a product is not returned there will be an additional rental charge outlined in table 1 per day per Product.

​

1.4 If the Anthillco. items are not returned after 30 days and there has been no communication to extend the rental, it is assumed that the customer wishes to purchase.  (need to add that customers will not be charged the “return rate” beyond 30 days. Full replacement cost will be charged after 30 days is complete.)

1.5 Customers acknowledge that their credit card will be kept on file for the duration of the rental agreement. Customer acknowledges and authorizes Anthillco. to charge any amount associated with the above stated terms and conditions. After rental duration has ended Anthill \co will terminate your credit card information. Customers acknowledge that only the last 4 digits of the credit card will be kept on file for tracking auditing.

 

2. PROPER USE OF MATERIALS 

2.1 The Customer acknowledges that he / she has sole responsibility to  adhere to the following clauses outlining the proper uses of rented materials to ensure they do not break or cause injury.

  • 2.1.1 Small Medium and Large Totes: 

Small:  Weight capacity 70 lbs max,  Stacking capacity 700 lbs max

Medium: Weight capacity 75 lbs max,  Stacking capacity 700 lbs max

Only household items are to be places into containers. Fold lids into one other to close. Lid must lay flat to be properly closed. Zipties may be used in the holes located on the handle sides to keep lids closed during transit but are not required. Perishable foods, liquids, explosives, medications, and any illegal items are not to be stored in the totes

  • 2.1.2 Garment Rack and Cover:

Intended for Residential Use of Hanging Clothing and/ or placing shoes. Weight capacity 100 lbs max. Approximately 36  hangers per rod. Garment wracks covers are not waterproof and are intended to protect clothes from dirt and debris  during transit. To protect the garment wrack and your hung clothing and shoes from damage: Place all items neatly on hangers and rods; assure all buttons on the cover are secure before transport; assure bottom shelf liner is secure; Place wheels in lock position when not in transport. Do not hang, sit on, stand on, the garment rack at any time. Do not remove the cover from the garment rack. Do not place items on top of garment rack.

  • 2.1.3 TV Cases: â€‹â€‹

All TV cases shall be used for monitors from 27 inches 85 inches, respectively. If a Case is too large for the monitor, additional foam will be provided, upon request, to fill in open spaces. To prevent monitor damage: Cases with monitors inside: Are to be stored vertically; Do not place anything up against case; Do not place items on top of the TV case.

  • 2.1.3.1 Fabric TV Cases: 

To prevent monitor damage: Zippers shall be zipped fully closed; Maintain line of site with the Cases when not in fully closed position

To prevent damage to case: Straps (on fabric Cases) are to be used for lifting and carrying the cases for transport; Do not drag the Case in any way; Do not throw/ toss, drop, sit/stand on, cut or disassemble Cases in any way;

  • 2.1.3.2 Hard Box/ Rolling TV Cases: â€‹â€‹

Maximum Loads: 400 lbs

To prevent monitor damage: Wheels shall be in the lock position when not in transport; Latches shall be in lock position; Maintain line of site with the Cases when not in locked position. 

To prevent damage to case: Handles are to be used for lifting and pulling the Case when wheels are in unlock position; Do not pull or drag the Case in any way; Do not throw/ toss, drop, sit/stand on, cut or disassemble Cases in any way;

  • 2.1.4 Dollies: 

For all dolly types assure you’ve cleared a travel path without any obstacles going towards your destination. Avoid topping a stack on the dolly with anything that will obstruct your view. Simply roll over bumps straight on if you encounter bumps as you roll onward. Be sure to secure items that you put on these dollies. It’s important to tie up loose items to avoid damage.

  • 2.1.4.1 Hand Truck:

Use a hand truck for anything going upstairs. Do not use the hand truck in cart position for going up or down stairs. To apply an item to your dolly in hand truck mode, tip the hand truck forward enough that you can slip the bottom flat surface underneath an item. Tip the dolly back on its wheels while holding the item in place with your other hand. Largest and heaviest items shall be placed the bottom.

To switch from hand truck to position to cart position; completely pull out the silver lock pins form either side of the handle, completely pull out the yellow handle, lay the base on all 4 wheels, Insert handle into the horizontal frame, Insert the handle pins through the frame and holes in the handle until they lock into the plastic clips.

  • 2.1.4.2 Ant Roller:

Ant Rollers Shall be used to transport stacked Medium and Small sized Bins/ Totes only. When stationary, roller shall not be on a slopped surface. When loaded with stacked bins in transport on a sloped surface, guide the stack down ward or upward from the front/ lower end of the slope.

  • 2.1.4.3 Ant Bolder Roller:

The Ant Roller is the proper dolly to use if you are going to be moving appliances, furniture, and other large fragile items. Be sure to maintain a proper grip on the item during transport. Take out drawers if moving furniture with loose parts to help make it easier to maneuver and a little lighter in weight.

  • 2.1.5 Couch & Chair Covers:

Covers are for standard size upholstered sofas, love seats, side and chairs. Straps are tied to hold cover on the upholstered seat. Do not lift furniture by straps or cloth. Covers are not waterproof and are intended to protect upholstered furniture from dirt, debris, and surface damage during transit.

2.2 None of the Rental items are to be used for play. Do not allow children to play in/with items leased in the rental agreement. In the event a customer is caught using our products for any purpose outside of their intended purpose/ proper use, AntHill and its subsidiaries will not be liable for any resulting consequences. Improper use and/or damage of any items may result in additional replacement costs.
